Neal Hepner flew P51 Mustangs in the 2nd World War. After retiring he order a New 1974 Beech Sundowner from the factory. Neal flew the Sundowner 3340 hrs until at age 83 he made the decision to sell the airplane and give up flying. On Friday April 28th 2006 John Franich was the second person ever to fly N6545R, after the test flight Franich purchase the plane and flew it from Pontiac MI to Tacoma WA where it's proudly kept.  (11.2 IMC in route)
